The Irish Derby is so boring with Aidan O'Brien's dominance.
I hate the way the media (RTE Racing and certain newspapers) build it up to be something special, its not!! The same people win it year in year out. Who cares which one of the loaded f**kers wins it this time around!!
If its not Aidan O'Brien, its John Oxx, Dermot Weld, Jim Bolger or some other high profiled well off foreign trainer!!!
The probelm with Flat racing is its the same old same old!! No small operation success stories, the type of stories that National Hunt racing throws up.
Aidan O'Brien saddled five of the ten runners on Sunday and who gave a dam which of them won it!!!??!!!

I thought it was fascinating working which of Aidan's was going to win.
Aidan is a GENIUS. If ye want him to drop his standards who will take over the mantle. Others have to step up to the plate to make for a great irish derby. Aidan does NOT have to drop his imo. |

agree soapp. you can argue that horse racing is the only sport in the world which we are in the 'top class' and what do we do,give aidan a hard time. football rubbish. rugby team not winning. no boxers. no top class golfers. nobody at wimbledon this week. no dart player. no winning f1 driver. aidan can take on the big boys and beat them week in week out theres no other sportperson in our country that does that. nobody likes a winner.

Samuel Morse i'd say you've only started watching racing because of the username but do you watch sport in general you said we've no top golfers what are you on about McDowell,McIlroy and Harrington, The rugby team are not bad.
I do agree that O'Brien is at the top but dont put down the others |

According to page 53 of the Independent today, McIlroy 'has already made plain his natural inkling, as a passport holder and resident of the United Kingdom, to represent the UK at the Olympics!' The little prick!!
