1st race - 2yo Mdn
Not that many seem to count here. Sligo isnt an easy track for a 2yo newcomer and Paul Deegans which looks the most likely of these cost very little so the form horses should emerge on top.
Chief of these appears to be McGonagle. He matched strides with the winner for the first 4f at Naas last wednesday in B. A little worrying to see a 2yo wearing B on only his 2nd start & will he repeat this improved performance in B 2nd time?
Ferocious Fran ran 2 nice races on straight tracks & went off a well backed favourite at Downroyal. She didnt seem to have the pace for the quick 5f there & didnt seem to handle the elbow. However more worrying was that she didnt look straighforward & swished her tail when hit. Hence B are applied here.
1 dont rate Suspect Devices 2nd at the Maze as a good race & think the next 2 best are Bobskier & Big Tex.
Overall the potential of Bobskier/Big Tex or take a chance on the form of the 2 Blinkered horses.

7th race 1m4f Handicap
A race that for me revolves around Wee Giant.
He is a half brother by Giants Causeway to successful sire Harlans Holiday who had career earnings of 2million in USA.
He is having his 1st outing for Willie Mullins who has won recently on the flat with De Senectute & Laughing Boy. Both were on seasonal debut & on their 1st outing for him. We also know his incredible record who horses he look over from other trainers this NH season.
His 2yo runs earned him a rating of 78. Had 4 runs last year & seemed to have lost his way but last ran off a mark of 76. He is dropped 15lb to a mark of 61 for his Irish debut (other trainers would be delighted to get this degree of leniancy). He is owned by Willies sister in law.
A compelling case - but will he deliver?
