1. Spain going home or 2. Ivory Coast going through
Although the first one is the far more likely, the second one is still a possibility, however remote.
Brazil would love nothing more than to stick a few past their former colonial masters Portugal and a 3-0 win here with a couple of early goals should see the Ivory Coast going hell-for-leather against the North Koreans to make up the goal difference.
I have seen nothing of Spain to suggest that they will beat Chile and can see this match ending up as a draw with Chile playing for 0-0 from the first whistle. Switzerland should beat Honduras but you can never be sure with the Swiss and they are not exactly the type of team to bang in the goals. If they win then Spain will go home IMO.
I think we will see 1 shock today, one of either1. Spain going home or2. Ivory Coast going throughAlthough the first one is the far more likely, the second one is still a possibility, however remote.Brazil would love nothing more than to stick a few

I know they didn't need to win here but they where hardly brilliant to watch in their first 2 games and seem to lack flair to me. Robinho has looked good for them, but jesus how defensive are they, 2 holding midfielder's, that Rafa Benitez tactics ain't it?
Is this the most boring Brazil team ever?I know they didn't need to win here but they where hardly brilliant to watch in their first 2 games and seem to lack flair to me. Robinho has looked good for them, but jesus how defensive are they, 2 hold
Portugal proving to be a very good side, will be very hard to beat have e40 on @ 18.0 to be the european team that progesses the furthest.
That was a Brazil team without its creative players and they still created chances, the cossing was poor enough tho

Just looking at the difference between the performance of the continents in the group matches. AFRICA (guaranteed 6 teams in the WC Finals) played 18 games, won 3, drew 5, and lost 10. Only one team, Ghana, qualified for the second round in second place on goal difference. SOUTH AMERICA (5 teams) played 15 games, won 10, drew 4 and lost 1. All qualified, 4 winning their groups and Chile coming second to Spain on goal difference.

not according to the butcher boy, who called Portugal a terrible side, he just didnt see the qualities i saw in them.
Portugal very like Swiss in defence, strong, organised and resolute. Portugal also have a world class player leading their attack and they for sure can knock any team out, I rate them as highly dangerous opponents, Carvalho at the back is immense

In the three games so far they’ve used three strikers (Liedson, Hugo Almeida, Ronaldo) starting.Only four outfield players have started all three games in the same position so its anyones guess who starts against spain
