Just read on irishracing.com that €1:02 was payed on the first three home in the 6:50 in Tipperary, despite the fact that the third was 66/1!!

They have also done away with paying 1,2,3,4 on all races with 16 or more runners. Now it is just handicaps that they pay 1 to 4 on with 16 or more runners.

No €0.50 cent placepot or jackpot anymore, €1 minimum stake!

They don't seem to inform people of these changes either, they just enforce them!!

Joke of a organisation.

Won the Jackpot tonight at Tipperary using my Betfair Account. It paid £238.00.But no sign of my account been credited, so I phoned Betfair. They said sometimes the Tote closes early and doesnt credit accounts until the next morning. Pathetic state of affairs I have a bad feeling abou this organisation!

too many silly and gimmicky markets/pools. there is only ever going to be so much money going into the tote*. and it's spread too thinly. should stick to win & place & jackpot (maybe extend it to six races so rollovers generate more often).

*(unless they can tap more foreign markets, which really is massive potential. imagine if they could get hong kong betting on irish racing and take even a token % commission? could fund the whole industry!)

Tote equals Mechanical Robber.

This new trifecta is generating less and less money into the pools as the weeks go by.

The tote racing club set up should have in addition to the free admissions a coffee room there on the day where they can get feedback from the very people that feed them.
