Casco Bay looking to win the same maiden hurdle for the second year running, not sure that's been done before.

strawhall maul wins if it gets around, but could be a big IF,

If Tornado Bobby gets a run he could be interesting at a massive price - was running his best race ever when being carried out last time.

I echo thatsurcoco's sentiments. Strawhall only has himself to beat in my view. There is a doubt about his jumping (can jump well but then makes one serious error) but he could have been priced up shorter and at 2/1 is worth chancing. Arctic Zone could run well at a decent price. Has her optimum conditions for the first time.
The lay of the card could be a place lay of Dickie Henderhoop at less than 2/1 I would assume |

No dougal to be honest I had no punt there tonite. I'd asy you would have had to go to 3's to lay him by race time but as it turns out it would have been easy money. That pilot is cat altogether alrite. Well matched with the trainer!!

By:
you were lucky ya had no punt ducky cos if you backed strawhall you would have been livid when arctic zone won.lividness doesnt go too well with punting. do one thing wrong do everything wrong.amnt i right?
|
|
By:
lividness almost on a par with alcoholism!!!

No your right there thatsurcoco. I was especially pleased I had no punt as it would have been an almost carbon copy of the bumper in gowran where I backed the second (my only bet yesterday) and was beaten by the only horse I could fancy in the race.
Had a bit of luck as I found myself in the bookies watching the bumper this evening and flicking through the last few races I noticed a horse I had been watching was running. Brian Meehans in the last in windsor. Won at 7/2. Would have been livid if he had won and I had missed him. Happy Days!! |
