Kilkenny team for Sunday

1. PJ Ryan
2. John Dalton
3. Noel Hickey
4. Jackie Tyrrell
5. Tommy Walsh
6. Brian Hogan
7. JJ Delaney
8. Michael Rice
9. Michael Fennelly
10. Martin Comerford
11. Richie Hogan
12. Henry Shefflin
13. Eddie Brennan
14. TJ Reid
15. Richie Power

Seems like the strongest available team for tomorrow. Cha Fitzpatrick is carrying an injury but should be back in the next couple of weeks.

I think John Dalton deserves his chance and can see Michael Kavanagh struggling to get back in the team. Eoin Larkin has lost some form since last year and has had good few injuries, but is on the bench and should come on at some stage.

Expect a big year from TJ Reid also, been one of the best club hurlers in Kilkenny for the last couple of years and is captain this year. Not sure though how much time he will spend full-forward, much more likely to line-up at half-forward.

Padraig De Paor have a 'special' on Henry Shefflin to outscore the Dublin team at 15/2 LaughLaugh I'd want 50's before i'd even consider it.

Kilkenny should win comfy imo, they'll be mindful of going the direct route this year and Dublin's progression seems to have halted at least for the time being.

kilkenny have been stuck in 2nd gear all last year and so far this year and they have rarely beaten their handicap.  when they do get going its difficult to see who will beat them.

dublin had a good league bar the waterford game and i can see this playing out the same as last years leinster final. kilkenny by about 5-6 pts.

the other 2 games have a too big a handicap also imo.

it amazes me how stupid dublin are in re to hurling , a few minor and u21 victories and dublin will challange kk ho ho ho

i hate to see a team getting a hiding and liking it , it happened to us wexicans for years but we reacted to it and got a provincial in 04.

I have said for the last 3 / 4 years that it will be us or the biffos that will beat kk but until it happens i will admire a fantastic hurling team , kk for 5
