Race 1) Jackaroo. The Ballydoyle Boys are off the mark and this one led home a 1 2 3 for the stable at Gowran 6 weeks ago. The form has been franked too.

Race 2) Harbinger. (Nap) Put Age Of Aquarius in his place at Chester. Will have been laid out for this as the stable is expected to target the King George with Workforce.

Race 3) Kinsale King. Wouldn't this be a rags to riches story to match any other if this US challenger gets home. Watch out for an Irish Jig in the winners enclosure afterwards.

Race 4) No selection. Not an inkling.

Race 5) Drill Seargeant.(Treble) A chance is taken that last year's winner comes back to form.

Race 6) Deutschland.(NB) This should be fought by the selection and last year's winner Caracciola. Willie Mullins only has a small team of horses for the flat but he will be hoping this can add to a memorable day over in france where he has Tarla in action in Auteil and hopefully one or two others.

Think Harbinger is a certainty in the Hardwicke Stakes. Reckon Starspangledbanner is the next best bet in the Golden Jubilee.

2.30 - Lexington Bay e/w 25/1 - Shaped well on debut imo after missing the break badly at Chester, ran on very well to finish 3rd and with that experience under his belt could cause a big upset here for the in for Paul Hanagan

3.05 Nap Harbinger - easily disposed of Manifest (won the G2 Yorkshire Cup by 8l nto) and Age of Aquarius (just touched off in the Gold Cup yesterday) on his last 2 runs and looks well above these rivals

3.50 - Showcasing - absolutely ate up the ground at the finish lto in the G2 Duke of York Stakes- had Starspangled Banner/Main Aim in behind that day and its gonna take a good one to hold his late burst tomorrow

4.25 - Ingleby Lady looks a progressive sort, won well at York over 6f 2 runs ago and stayed on strongly over 5f lto at Musselburgh - at 14/1 e/w looks solid to me

5.00 nb - Shamali- 2 out of 2 at Ascot, has disappointed when well fancied(wen off fav both times) in his last 2 runs but at 11/1 with Ladbrokes is quite simply the wrong price imo

5.35 - Starfala has been 2nd and 3rd in 2 Listed races at the track including wen just 3rd behind Barshiba Duncan on his first start of the season - he has never gone this far but stayed on well enough on those 2 starts to believe it could be within his compass

2.30 - Zaidan (nb) (very impressed with his win at Doncaster over 5f, staying on well to suggest the step up to 6f will be even better for him. Should go very close)

3.05 - South Easter E/W (Harbinger obviously the horse to beat at prohibitive odds but he has dissapointed in the past at Goodwood last year. South Easter ran a decent race in the Coronation at Epsom behind Fame And Glory and Sariska to suggest he could go ok here and the track should suit better. Could be a lively outsider)

3.50 - Kinsale King / Starspangledbanner (Kinale King won the Golden Shaheem and if able to transalate that form to turf must go close. Star came over with a big reputation and should improve a lot for his York run)

4.25 - Laddies Poker Two / Noverre To Go (one drawn either side, LP2 very lightly raced and been off a long time but was A/P fav for the race last year and the money has flooded in again. N2G won last time out at Newmarket and may just be finding some form)

5.00 - Imposing (nap) (reaaly impressed by him at York over 10f, was pushed along early in that race but once he hit top gear he fairly rattled home and won easily going away. Step up to 12f looks sure to suit and i'd be surprised if he can't take this on his way to better things)

5.35 - Deutschland (horrible race to work out imo, he ran well in last years Ebor, is fit from the jumps and should get the trip. Only slight doubt would be the going)
