Argies a bit short??

Don't expect any urgency in the first game. Both teams opened with wins and a draw here would suit both teams. Unders is tempting.

Argentina v South Korea was impressed with both sides in their opening games and this should be a decent game to watch. South Korea where very impressive in beating greece but in my opinion Greece are hopeless. On the other side Argentina where impressive in dispatching an average Nigeria team. However had Argentina took their chances it could of been 6 or 7. Going forward they have so much talent its hard to imagine them not creating loads of chances. Bit worried by Jonas at right back but Argentian should have enough.

Nigeria v Greece this will not be a classic, stating the obvious i am there. Once again i think Greece will struggle to create chances and score goals. Nigeria in all honesty are not much better but i feel they just have a little more.

France v Mexico i really think this depends on what team that crazy maniac Domenach picks. Mexico are good to watch and knock the ball around nicely but they lack the punch up front to put the ball in the back of the net, which really showed in their opening game against South Africa. Had they a clinical striker in their ranks they surely would of won that game. If Domenach plays Malouda on the left, puts Ribery in the middle just off the striker (hopefully Henry) and then Anelka on the left instead of Govou (he is awful) then i think France will rate an excellant bet at the price.

Argentina are going 4-3-3 today. Relying on Mascherano alone for protection of the back 4 and Gutierrez is a liability at right back. A bit of hope for South Korea.

Messi's mood seemed to improve when Aguero arrived on the scene.

Higuan was 80 on here for top scorer around February and March, kept looking at it but at the time Maradona didn't always play him

He might not play against Greece, if he did it could be settled before the group stages.

Tbh I think Aguero or Milito would be a better option, Higuain got 3 tap ins today. He had to be in the right place alright but you saw Aguero's pace and trickery there. He can create from nothing. Messi seemed to work well off him too. Higuain doesn't give them that imo. Most of his goals are served up for him, he's a great finished but in tight games there are better options. Especially if they revert to 4-4-1-1.
