Nice to see Richard Fahey in one of the carriages. The Blackrock College boy must have some good contacts.

By:
its great to see her majesty happy and healthy.shes a marvellous example to all her subjects.its just a pity her mood might be dampened a bit by the failure of her team to beat the usa.a shame really.

it was marvellous.i was close to tears when i seen her smile and wave at the crowd..the colours of here outfit brought out her arian complexion beautifully.its my ambition to try and get there next year to catch a glimpse of her and cheer with the rest of her subjects.

her majesty was looking particularly radiant today.it was great to see mr weld getting the gold cup from her.undoubtly the highlight of his long career was meeting her today.well done maam!!..

By:
its hard to belive this great lady has yet to visit her subjects in dublin , yet she is welcomed everywere else she goes in the commonwealth
![]() |
By:
looks like her majesty will been visiting her loyal subjects in ireland soon .
By:
I feel that the occasion of her visit should be honoured with some significant gesture
I will be formally proposing that Dun Laoghaire should revert to its former name of Kingstown and I expect that this proposal will be received with wild enthusiasm by Dort-ers along the coastal line We could also consider restoring the names of Queenstown,Kings County,Queens County ,but residents of these regions are rough types, not sure how they would respond |
By:
wfg, it should be some sight when her majesty alights from britania and the national anthem is played , all her loyal subjects repaid at last .
By:
maybe we could make a small gesture of painting all the kerbstones on the way of her route to red white and blue ?and fly the union jack whereever possible?a small gesture it would be but m sure her majesty would find favour with it?
By:
she would be very touched by that gesture kavvie , but would that not be expecting to much ?
