I noticed on the RTE sofa all the boys very critical of Cork and almost writing them off for the replay against Kerry, seemed a bit odd to me as surely a draw in the home of the champions is a good result.

Alot of talk about the forwards being not up to scratch etc and they hadnt progressed since last year (do they not count the league) and Spillane confidently predicting a Kerry win in the replay.

Having watched the game myself thought Cork played OK, not alot in it but had the upper hand mostly apart from the start and the finish.

Kerry helped by a couple of soft frees on Cooper, who did seem to be boring into the defenders and dropping down for fouls alot of the time, also the one where the leaped in the air like a salmon with no one near him and still the ref blew lol.

But near the end I think they could easily have sneaked it had the game continued much longer, I think the ref might have realised it might have been a bit controversial and blew up quickly before Kerry could get a winner!!

I notice Brolly and Spillane always at the far opposites of the sofa every time too (as well as their opinions usually), wonder if this is by accident or design!!
