dont think she got credit she deserved last year.
loved KP's comments in RP about trip/ground also very punter friendly in the info given about progress/schedule etc (not used to trainers given anythin but flannel) if she lived at ballydoyle, warren place, freemason etc she be 10s now hope for a nice run in 1000 to bring her to boil GL |

Comment by KP on Termagant in Stable Tour with Johnny Ward,Racing Post page 16 to-day:
"She is going well and I couldn't be happier with her She'll start off in the Irish 1000G and we're hoping for a good run The plan after that is the Oaks at Epsom where I don't think the track will be any problem Although she won the Moyglare on soft ground,it was quick on her debut and basically she'd like fast ground In terms of trip ,she's by Powerscort, who stayed well, but the mare is by Selkirk, who was a miler.Basically, she should stay 1m 4f" Termagant made her debut in June, beating Cabaret, and after won the Group 1 Moyglare, beating Famous,Lillie Langtry,Long Lashes and Gile na Greine(beat G na G over 14 lengths)After that race KP said she would be put away for season and aimed at Irish 1000G.He stated that she would not be aimed at Newmarket 1000G,because she is a highly strung filly and he did not want to subject her to travel at an early stage in her career.Subsequently Newmarket guineas came under consideration but came too early for her I was very impressed with her last season and have already backed her for Oaks. The positives are that she is clearly a very good filly, perhaps an outstanding filly;she appears to be in good form, trainer appears to have no serious concerns about Oaks trip. The negatives are that Oaks comes quickly after Irish guineas(May 23,June 4);that her Moyglare victory was on heavy(officially) ground(we have all learned to be wary of processions on heavy ground) ;that she may be highly-strung and that we have not seen her as a 3-y-o,and cannot be sure that she has trained on until she delivers on the track. The market finds her difficult to assess-her form is in the book, but she hasn't appeared for a long time and the focus is on the English trials and also Gile na Greine. She can be backed at around 25/1 now--if she runs a big race in Irish guineas and is confirmed for Oaks she will certainly shorten and may indeed be challenging for favouritism |

Cheers WfG
fair comment on positives and negatives had a look at fillies goin into oaks on the back of a recent run (IRE 1000 or Lupe) and they have decent record, horses like shahtoush, love divine, imagine, yesterday, peep fawn have all ran well/won. So doable with the right animal. GL |
