I can't see how that rule is even enforceable....given it was promoted and officially WON the race.
They should hold onto the slip and contact the relevant authorities. |
|
By:
She is the official winner of the race.
Winner all right They have to pay out. Surely. |
|
By:
find it hard to believe that this happened. ok if the rule kicked in on the original result (jaqueline quest-ffp) and was subject to max 200 stake. and that may well be the case. id say the cashier is getting her wires crossed here and if it was explained to her properly the chap would be paid.

this is one million percent true

I hope that he has not taken the 1100 and is still in possession of the slip.
|
|
By:
Surely the 200 limit would be on the original winner who was demoted to 2nd?
Special Duty won the race |

Tommy makes his up his own rules. People shouldn't bet with him

If Im reading this right as it is its an incredible what is even more annoying is that
As said before if punter had the money on Jacquelines Quest bookie is within his rights to impose a max payout but not on an official result. If he Accpeted an 800 euro bet and has to pay the official result. I would hope cashier error is at play or committed a serious breach of his gambling license and punter would be well within his rights to appeal McBrides license. If does not get paid in full ask for a written explanation of the terms and conditions while gambling debts or winnings are not recoverable by law punter would certainly have a case that McBride has welched on the bet and should have his license withdrawn. Threatning this should see him hopefully paid in full. |
