The chappie playing centre forward for Shamrock Rovers looks a tidy player,id say hes not worth the price of a burger and fries out of the van parked by the corner flag.
A quick question ,which would be the more excruciating ?,watching a half an hour of this LOI garbage or Deal Or No Deal over on RTE 2,id find it hard to pick to be honest.

well fcuk me the gaa neanderthals are back. jimeen and co hiss off over to the gaa rubbish ,leave your rubbish there as well , even gaa players admit its the worst game of all ffs, copy soccer in everything if its such an irish orientated game how come they play with a soccer ball use use the cards thats soccer refs use :^) yeah very irish indeed .now back to the foottball rovers were very very poor ,still at this stage i'd take anything ,maybe this will kick start our season but still lots of improvement needed.

Im not a gaa fan either workrider so you can put me in that category, I cld put 11 players together from sunday league teams and they cld play better football than that sh1te we had to watch tonight, if that's the best irish football can produce then god help us all, it's not just tonight's game its been the overall performances from all teams this season and last, people who go and pay to watch this on a regular basis need there head testing or they shld go to there solicitors and go to a small claims court to get there money returned because they are been robbed blind

Workrider,i think you may find that Rovers are very very poor every night not just tonight.Seriously though, this kind of football should not be televised and i can see a situation in the courts in about 15 years where the solicitors of accused people are pleading for leniency for their clients, citing the fact that their parents made them watch this LOI rubbish when they were growing up.It may well replace the "i was abused " excuse when loking for leniency in criminal cases.

jimeen surely you must be suffering from delusion , my friend its the people who go to watch gaa matche's that have this country fecked, just go back over the years and every goverment cabinet with their country boy type who was part of every political party on this great island of ours attended gaa matches on sundays ffs :^) and you know how this gaa ridden country ended up :^0

Bohs not up to much tonight. Killian Brennan remains a key player for them.

Thought Ruirdhi Higgins put in few cracking balls when he came in.

But credit to Sligo and their supporters tonight. Heroic effort after going down to 10 men. Great to see!

workrider, what is disappointing is that Rovers score an early goal and then sit back against a really poor Galway side.. no leadership.. no confidence.. the match just deteriorates into a kick the ball into the stands scenario.. no tempo .. just k ar p.. looking to do something from dead ball situation.. reminded me of a poor mans Liverpool..not good

Frustrating night for us workrider but a grand effort from Sligo after they had a player sent off.

Great result for Rovers mate, in a strange kind of way I'm pleased to see you win there and I hope you pick up from this point.

FFS don't let Giant Strides know that I said that :0

once again miltonf, i have to agree with you , very poor quality football ,rovers still looking nervy ,as you say never kept up the pressure when they had a poor galway on the ropes , applehunter ,do you think bohs just might be showing a few cracks in their armory ? beaten by sportinf juring the week now 0 0 with ten men sligo .did joseph play against his old pals ?

workrider.

They are still very solid all over the park without being very attractive to watch .Thats why when Killian Brennan is missing they struggle to break teams down.

Jason Byrne had 3 one on ones tonight but Brush matched him every time. On another night he would have got a hat-trick.

Still they are doing well for a team that hasn't played that well yet this season.

Sligo too often looked for the long ball to Blinkhorn. A fit and willing Ndo could be a big player for them. Other than that they have the right attitude to do something this season.

thanks applehunter, the first game of the season against s .f . i thought bohs lacked that killer instinst and playing deegan along the h/way mark was a sign that all was not well with them . i think if you stop the supply to deegan bohs will struggle . never really liked brennan but understand what you mean about him.

Good tough match tonight between Dundalk & St Pats and while both could have won it draw was a fair result.
Quiet impressed with Pats looked very solid and their players really seem to have a hunger and desire about them.
Looking like the league might be more open this year than expected.

punkha1, seen both teams this season to my dismay :^0
