was unlucky do be disqualifed on Sorbus in the Oaks for Oxx.

A ridiculous decision.

He was the equivalent of wayne Lordan today. A middle of the range jockey.

Bert Auld and Frankie Shortt I think. John Shortt's old man.

All I heard about Frankie Carroll going back many years. He was seen at Lough Derg one year and a Jackeen said out aloud surely he won't put us wide HERE if we ask him for a tip!!

i was talking to frank ennis tonight at naas soaap,we started reminising about baldoyle and the 1ml 6fur hurdle races , he told me he was riding a mare who knocked the hurdle out of the ground and as they arrived at the next hurdle another jockey called out to him pull her up, pull her up , he looked down and saw a stake from the previous hurdle sticking out of her chest , she fell over and bleed to death and gave him a terrble fall , those were the days .

All those winners for different trainers. Fair play to the lad. Lets hope he can keep going for many years to come.
