Was just looking at the jump stats for the season and after Willie Mullins, Philip Rothwell has had the most runners this season, he has had 111 different runners this season from 72 different owners.
He hasn't been hugely sucessful on the track, you'd wonder what he's doing to keep the boxes full when most trainers are losing owners....

seems to work, any idea what his training fees are?

there are huge differences between what the trainers charge and not necessarily on merit either from what i hear. Not the most transparent of areas

No idea but it has always been quantity over quality there. He was featured in the weekly diary a couple of weeks back and every day involved going looking at young horses!

Michael Hourigan has had the same approach over the years.....running it purely from a business perspective.
