You have to fancy a irish winner in the 1st , our novice chases have been great all winter and its been proven with the arkle and the sun alliance, i see the hollinwell is 7/1 2nd fav with the books , it has no chance , it wouldnt touch the irish horses for sheer speed

Race 1) The Hollinwell. Well tipped up at preview night in Harold's Cross. Race 2) Boulavogue. (E/W) Tipped up above but a most consistent animal. Race 3) Planet Of Sound. (NB) My charity bet courtsy of Keen Leader at 12/1 Race 4) Big Bucks. (Nap) Surely a banker must come in. Race 5) Jayo. Wille normally ignores the handicaps. Take the hint. Race 6) Boychuk. Doc O'Connor is the best Amateur by a mile. |

disgrace of a card, grade one world hurdle, rest are handicap **t to bring in another haul for the bookies, and yes i include the ryanair, two fav have won handicaps to put them at head of the market, thats not a grade one. A day to avoid i think

1.30. Rivaliste / Hey Big Spender Nicholls stable took this last year and they seem to think Rivaliste is well in. Hey Big Spender jumps and travels and has good course form this season, think he will be there abouts
2.05. Alfie Sherrin handicap good thing of the week ain't he? hope ye all are on ante post 2.40. Barbers Shop ran 2nd last year in the paddy power to Imperial Commander who then won this race. He ran a blinder in the Gold cup last year until his stamina gave way and ran well against Denman in the Hennessy and Kauto Star in the King George who he was one of only a few horses that bothered to try and beat them. Massive claims 3.20. have not decided, may leave alone or have something small on something at a big price 4.00. I'm So Lucky think he is well in here and has ground to suit, was still in with a big chance when brought down last time 4.40. Shillingstone ground conditions looks perfect for this lad and has been layed out for the race. if he is in the same form as he was on Hennessy day at Newbury i think he will win here |
