no-one suggested offering rooms to the homeless, particularly families escaping Domestic violence etc

If ever anyone needed a reason not to vote Labour, that interview with Shortall was perfect.

The guy made sense saying allow the market to sort out the wheat from the chaf instead of allowing banks/tax breaks to prop up cheap hotels and Shortall looked like she was completely out of her depth.

Not only that, she tore strips off Dr. Bacon, then when asked what would she do by Miriam....she says exactly what Bacon had just said. Bacon sat up shaking his head, tried to explain that thats what he said, and she kept interupting him. It was amusing but wholly embarrassing

Bacon did his best for the bubble over the years. Could do with a Gerry Ryan type makeover.
