Anyone have any ideas or suggestions of a pub around the city centre to watch the racing next week. Preferably somewhere with a big screen, close to a bookies and Racing UK for the last few races. I've heard Cassidys on Camden St is fairly decent?

The Boars Head on Capel St will be a great bar to watch the festival in.

You could even catch the Morning line in the Boars head if you want

The Goat would be the best but outside of the City Centre.

Kehoes on south anne street a decent spot. surrounded by betting offices, magin sign, pp, and chronicle place across the way. nice pint of guinness too, not that that would be of interest to the likes of us.

the chronicle place has closed down has it not ^^ the sporting emporium i presume your talking about, the bookies part has closed down i was told. anyway plenty other bookies around there

yeah the place in the emporium. not sure, last time i looked in there seemed to be lots of slot machines, so maybe it is closed. but i was pretty drunk looking in from the back of ron blacks. hope its open as they usually gave you a bit over the board price.
