Over €9000 carried over from Sunday into the jackpot will tempt a lot of punters.

Race 1) Some Slam. Tom Mullins gelding acquitted himself well on his hurdling debut a month ago when 4th to Grey Soldier here. A weak renewal, he should go close.

Race 2) Unhinged. Ruby Walsh was brilliant on John Coleman's gelding at Navan 6 weeks when beating Charlie Swan's highly rated Prince Of Fire. With some many ifs and buts about the rest of the field, Davy Condon's mount must have an e/w shout.

Race 3) L'Oiseau De Feu. An e/w chance is given to this most consistent gelding. Prior to disappointing LTO after only a 4 day break he was 3rd in a big field to Macidoni at Fairyhouse.

Race 4) Bootlegger. (Treble) Davy Russell is the jockey in form and teaming up for the first time with Bootlegger in a long time may have the desired effect. Runner up 3 times over hurdles he was 12 lengths clear of the remainder LTO when runner up to Drusell at fairyhouse. Highly rated Gagewell Flyer has a long absence to overcome as well this being its jump debut.

Race 5) All The Cousins. The ever dangerous Martin/Walsh alliance can strike here. Runner up at Fairyhouse LTO when not fancied ,to Sharekan who followed up next time out must give him every chance.

Race 6) In Great Form. (NB) Runner up in a maiden hurdle LTO for McCoy at Fairyhouse to Ionisphere who slipped most of the field, he can give young Magnier another chance to blow away the cobwebs before he takes his chance on Shoot From the Hip at Cheltenham.

Race 7) Fort Defiance. (Nap) This grey Dalakhani gelding can stand out in more ways than one by striking for the in form team of Weld/Mcnamara.

3.15 - Ben Wade e/w 16/1 - held up out the back last time behind Macadoni and stayed on well enough into 5th without the jock bein too hard on him, e/w claims with a more robust ride

4.45 Nap - In Great form- his 2nd lto is the best form on offer by a long way in this imo, had a solid yardstick in Admiral Barry behind in 3rd and the one to beat here

Naas 5.15 nb - have heard good things sbout Major Bellamy and Nina rides - disappointed with the price though

It looked nigh impossible today, the jackpot.

A nice bonus for Clonmel.

EMI, didnt get there today. Limerick at the week-end for me with Curaheen Park on Saturday night thrown in possibly. Droopey's Saste and Carlows Pride both drawn in Trap 2 might pay the X's in the 2nd round of the Kudos Supersprint.

Hell of a drift on Mullins in the 4.45, drastically misplaced to say the least.

Any word from the course?
