I think its rubbish he needs soft ground to win. By far and away his best performance over hurdles was on really good april ground when he won the landrover hurdle from Trafford and 543. I remember his chasing debut and he was 7/4 on heavy ground when he should have been odds on.... the Theory then was he needed good ground....

Anyone agree? disagree?

Genuine good ground will be perfect for him.

the form line with 543 is questionable, debatable.

Think Poquin has the winning of this, showing real good form an improvement this yr, he wasnt beaten much by TS in ground that he hated

I heard on ATR footage that Tranquil Sea regresses as d season wears on too

Better ground won't be a problem for him. Getting better with every run, and will put Poquelin in his place again.

BIO id say both hated the ground and dont believe everything ye hear on atr TRANQUIL in the PP brought back memories of KICKING KINGS gold cup, he was tanking along just like KK and to these eyes if both get there in best shape and jump equally as each other therse only one outcome but there are others to beat but not many ;)
