Will the Dubs line the streets again to welcome her waving their Union Jacks in their thousands, as they did the last time the British monarch visited the city!
Hence the nickname "Jacks" for the Dubs. |

So a woman of German decent visits Ireland, its not as if she is English for God's sake. Born in England to English-born parents who themselves had English-born parents. Makes her English in my eyes. Are you one of these culchies who regards anybody who can't trace their ancestry in the local village back to the famine a "blow-in" |

Wonderul news. Time to embrace our biggest trading partner. I shall be unfurling a banner which reads "Ma'am, will one kindly consider taking us back under one's wing?"
The experiment is over imo. As with many of the former African colonies, we have proven ourselves clearly unfit for self governance. The Brits have had centuries experience of governening half the globe and we need to tap back into that imho. Sterling and the relative fiscal control that comes with it would be a massive added bonus. |
