Really looking forward to this horse this season, should laugh at this lot tomorrow at hexam. Changed hands for 300k at the sales. Could be the next tidal bay for the johnson stable, impressed me in its bumper win although we dont know how good the form of that is, but anything around 1.6 should be taking imo against this opposition.
Not that great tbh, its not what he beat, its the way he went about his business in the two races ive seen of him on the track, he has also won his sole p2p start, all in all he has the right ingredients to go right to the top.

Dont give up on this beast yet lads, will win today imo, race the last day didnt suit him at all, has had a break since then hopefully has freshened him up.

Personally, I would put this horse away for next season
start him straight over fences
it's clear that this will be his forte
if theycontinue to put him in competitive hurdles he'll just lose the plot and go downhill

"impressed me in its bumper win although we dont know how good the form of that is". Surely has to go down as quote of the decade! :-)
good to see him back.

Also not to be forgotten is On Raglan Road, the only horse to have ever finished in front of Dunguib on a racecourse when beating him in a bumper at Punchestown in 2008, but off the course since falling at Aintree last April.
"He had a nasty spill there and he's needed time, but he's working nicely again and he's still got the entry in the Coral Cup. He could be another who goes for a gallop this weekend to see where we stand, but he's always had plenty of talent."

Johnson has a number of entries in some of the lesser races at the Festival but has yet to finalise plans.
One of his more intriguing entries is On Raglan Road, who is the only horse to beat Dunguib having lowered his colours in a Punchestown bumper before joining Johnson at the start of last season.
On Raglan Road has been sidelined by injury since taking a heavy fall at Aintree last April and Johnson is in no rush to decide on his target.
"He's in really good form at the moment but we'll just see how he goes," said Johnson.
"He's entered in the Coral Cup but I haven't decided whether to run him or whether just to give him the season off, but I'm very happy with him.
"I've not sorted out the Cheltenham runners yet, but Stormy Weather could go for the Fred Winter, while Abbeybraney and Presenting Forever could run in the four-miler (National Hunt Chase)."
