Well done Eoin. A great knock. Pity he doesn't play for us anymore.

Lucky early , but brilliant towards end . Interesting to see how England selectors ( and media ) handle any "upgrade " for him .

He is a quality one dayer but he'll have trouble getting into the test side, even though there isn't much ahead of him.

It's a case of England selectors trying to pigeon hole him.

Remember the name for future table quizes.

EOIN MORGAN IS A VERY CLASSY PLAYER BUT ENGLAND WILL DROP HIM IN THE SAME WAY THEY TREATED ED JOYCE WHO IS THE BEST TEST PLAYER PROSPECT IVE SEEN AND WOULD BE A STAR IN THE TEST FORMAT . NO ONE SUPPORTS ENGLAND AT CRICKET MORE THAN IVE DONE BUT THINK THEY HAVE LOST THEIR INDENITY WITH SO MANY PLAYERS COMING FROM OUTSIDE ENGLAND . WOULDNT IT BE GREAT TOO SEE JOYCE & MORGAN PLAYING FOR IRELAND IN THE WORLD CUP BUT FAIR PLAY TOO BOTH AS THEY WILL EARN A FANTASTIC AMMOUNT OF CASH PLYING THERE TRADE FOR ENGLAND AN I HOPE THAT ED JOYCE GETS A CHANCE IN THE TEST ARENA AS IMO HE WILL BE A BIG STAR

Norn I would Say Edd will be back playing for Ireland in the next World cup.He almost qualified to play for Ireland again.

Eoin is a class player Knew him when he was younger actually played against him and got him out!!!He is still a nice bloke apparently so they say and it hasnt gone to his head at all.He also earned himself a life changing contract in The Indian premier League getting bought in the auction for over 200,000 dollars a large portion of which goes to him.He was also picked ahead of a lot of established world names in that auction.Well done Eoin Fair play to you well deserved.

Class.

Just watched the highlights, best thing about him was he didnt play for his 100, played to win the game. Sachin got singles or twos for his last 10 runs for his 200 the other day, this lad plays for the team win, not the personal goal.

Different gravy B-)

Yes Tendulkar has played completely for his self down through the years, completely overrated.

Do you not know anything about the game Frank? Scoring 200 of your team's 400 runs batting first in a ODI is an incredibly selfish knock. It won't go down in the history books as the greatest ever innings.

You have me stumped there dunc, can never get my head around this game.

tendulkar was a DISGRACE the way he limped to that double ton in an unbeatable total of 400. needed shooting. well said doyler

From what I recall (and I stand to be corrected), Brian Lara did the exact same when breaking the test record against England.
Is it not possible that ,unless it`s a crucial match, team victory is considered a bonus, when batting records are a possibility? They are rare after all.
Calling Tendulkar selfish is a bit ott given what he`s done for his country.

Lucky MS got 68 off 35 or they wouldnt have got to 400.

Ya, most players bat for themselves when a milestone is in sight, nothing Sachin did that everyone else does. I'd put the team win before it but sure thats only because I'm betting on the game :D

tendulkar was banjaxed, dhoni had to engineer the strike for himself and make sure Tendulkar got a single somewher along the line

it was boundaries or singles
