this one must have an outstanding chance. 70/1 is a silly price for a poor renewal

Sorry 70-1 an awful price, don't bother backing it than. i'm justtelling you it'll be trying, they've been spot on with their money 4 out of 5 times already if that's any help.
Report Frank The Tank March 2, 2010 9:39 PM GMT
Thanks for that, shrewd bunch of punters I believe.
Report stoppedinbehind1 March 2, 2010 9:48 PM GMT

Report Rowley Mile March 2, 2010 9:49 PM GMT

I was very worried about it being a non-trier :)

You sound like the type that would soil his trousers backing a 70-1 shot ante post.
Report Rowley Mile March 2, 2010 9:51 PM GMT
oooops almost forgot ;-)
Report Bernie doesn't have a clue March 2, 2010 9:54 PM GMT
backing a 70/1 shot or a winning 70/1 shot
Report Frank The Tank March 2, 2010 9:54 PM GMT
Ah now stoppedinbehind, that's below the belt, and there was me about to sign up to your westmanstown preview that you're selling on here. I would've brought the wife also if you could have got one of the Grand Alliance Syndicate on the panel on the night. Ah well.
Report Rowley Mile March 2, 2010 9:57 PM GMT
Both. Winner = Soiling yourself at the front.
Loser = Soiling yourself behind.

Only cos you asked my opinion tho.
Report Bernie doesn't have a clue March 2, 2010 10:04 PM GMT

Report Rowley Mile March 2, 2010 10:05 PM GMT

Report stoppedinbehind1 March 2, 2010 10:12 PM GMT

Report Rowley Mile March 2, 2010 10:17 PM GMT
Yes, was aimed at you, stick to the rugby eh
Report Frank The Tank March 2, 2010 10:17 PM GMT
That's a pity, hopefully its chances might be addressed during question time by An Taoiseach or some of the other sharp minds in Leinster House in the coming days just so I can get it first hand myself, before I pile in.
Report Rowley Mile March 2, 2010 10:19 PM GMT
Racing would me a much more shady sport if leinster house got involved.
Report Bernie doesn't have a clue March 2, 2010 10:20 PM GMT

Claims Five: What could possibly go wrong?

2) Donnas Palm wins the Champion Hurdle Who? Well, quite. Still, in hindsight, it was perhaps rash of us to write off the 50-1 shot who had, after all, been a running-on second in the Irish equivalent in January. A sounder surface and the strongest pace he had yet encountered allowed Noel Meade's grey to show greatly improved form, powering up the hill to win by five lengths from his stablemate, Go Native.
