He gave Tranquil Sea a peach of a ride on Sunday.
Report norn iron March 1, 2010 4:02 PM GMT
A VERY GOOD JOCKEY IMO
Report Swinia March 1, 2010 4:17 PM GMT
^^^ agree with NORN but equally wouldn't want him in a tight finish. Has alot of class but no power in finish ...
Report dillinger March 1, 2010 9:46 PM GMT
a punting owner always attracts this kinda stuff
Report jair1970 March 1, 2010 9:55 PM GMT
I thought similar thoughts having placed a loyal 2 quid on the horse to see it way back and floundering 2 out, then suddenly everything falls in a hole and it wins pulling a cart.

Hilarious
Report par March 1, 2010 9:57 PM GMT
I was watching it from the turn in, was laughing my head off as it sailed past after the last
Report jackdaws March 1, 2010 10:59 PM GMT
jockeys description on tranquil sea was consistent with his weekend"hands and heels" ... he should be ridin in them special races in england
Report galway59 March 2, 2010 9:28 AM GMT
Marvellous stuff the way people take pleasure out of somebody having a winner that may or may not have been wanted on a given day. What a great game this is,its one where people who have maybe 25 horses in training can be laughed at by people that couldnt buy a polar mint for one of them. The only horse most of the begrudgers here ever had was the one they were riding round their own housing estate.
Report countychampions March 2, 2010 9:34 AM GMT
agree cooldine, look at what this man is investing back into the game, amount of people keeping in jobs etc...lads on here with there 2 pound talking **,,,,all i say is fair play to him and best of luck........and regards to the jockey ,his well able to ride a finish, eddie would not have him other wise
Report winston March 2, 2010 9:43 AM GMT
What are polar mints?
Report galway59 March 2, 2010 9:49 AM GMT
They are a step up from polo mints that Aldaniti used like. Its a bit like youngsters who used drink pints have now graduated to alcopopos, horses are the same, they have gone off the mints with a hole in favour of the full mint. They are quite hard these mints and most humans would need to suck them but horses can bite in straight away.
Hope this helps.
Report winston March 2, 2010 9:56 AM GMT
Thanks,mr trebor. If you have any of these mints spare you shud give Giant Strides a few. He's apoplectic on the other thread.
Report montypanesarutd March 2, 2010 10:55 AM GMT
I started this thread to point out one of the strange irony's of this sport. I think he is a great jockey and he done little wrong. and im no begrudger. Some of you need to get off your high horses and lighten up.
Report galway59 March 2, 2010 11:09 AM GMT
Nobody was referring to you, tickite boo, tocky junior, jackdaws, tony fenton, par and jair1970 seemed the ones who took particular pleasure to my untrained eye.
Report The Gotchee March 2, 2010 11:47 AM GMT
Just because he puts a lot of money into the game doesn't give him the right to che@t. I think most people would condone this type of behaviour.
Report galway59 March 2, 2010 11:54 AM GMT
Wise words from a wise man.
Report thegalwayman March 2, 2010 12:00 PM GMT
Do you know what condone means?
Report yummy March 2, 2010 12:17 PM GMT
mass murderer CONDONED to death
Report Giant Strides March 2, 2010 12:22 PM GMT
So you`re on here too offering your tuppenceworth cooldine.
The intellectual heavyweight who would rather post on here during the daytime than work at what your equivalents generally do. Why work on a mathematical solution to the origin of the Universe when the BF Irish forum exists, eh?
Report galway59 March 2, 2010 4:51 PM GMT
Just because i can post in the morning doesnt necesarily mean i dont work,im a waiter in a hotel and i just do lunches so im caught between 1 and 4 o clock after that i have the day to myself.I never once said that you were not that bright, what i meant was that you are a complete and utter dope
Report irishracing March 2, 2010 5:55 PM GMT
Cooldine hotel work is rubbish. haha you have no life
Report galway59 March 2, 2010 6:31 PM GMT
