read this in the football forum
Not a Stoke fan but what struck me at the time of the Shawcross/Ramsay incident and since watching it again was that Glenn Whelan was the only one who comforted Ramsey in his hour of need while the rest of the Arsenal players were either too busy harassing the ref for a red card or just simply couldnt hack it.
Whelan was very smart, he was checking straight away that Ramsay hadn't swallowed his tongue, holds his head up in case/as he went into shock.
Well Done that lad.
