Leop

2-15 - Tarkari- talented but a bit of a thinker - ran a cracker wen travellin up very well in the Pierse hurdle and led b4 the last b4 bein run out of it - big shout here

2-45 Jaffonnien Nap - an unlucky faller 2 runs ago wen travelling extremely well, was diappounting on his return but stil wen short i/r after travelling well till they turned in - that run should have got him spot on and can take this

3-15 Bluesa Cracker e/w a speculative e/w punt here if fit to do herself justice after nearly a year off - had Nuvelli well behind the last time they met

3-50 Major Finnegan ran a very funny race lto wen second behind Shakervilz - travelled and jumped well but seemed to get badly outpaced (jockey didnt make much effort tbh) and den stayed on very strongly and was closin very fast at the line

4-50 Old Charm e/w nb - won very easily at Cork lto beating Kerb Appeal who won his next too starts very easily and was 3rd in a G2 lto! Travelled very well that day and scooted clear in the manner of a decent horse and can put it up to the likely fav Araucaria here

Clonmel

1.50 Fennis Boy tried to make al against Some target lto - and battled back very well wen passed and was just out fought near the line - this is a poor race and he can oblige here

2.55 Hidden Crack e/w never travelled with any fluency at all last time out but did well to stay on for 4th wen lookin more likely to be pulled up at one stage! Won over CD the time b4 and the 2nd has franked the form since - worth another try

4.40 Nap The Flying Dustman - a good winner @ Limk 2 runs ago and lost nothing in defeat lto wen battling well to keep hold of second behind Nuvelli - solid claims again in an open affair

5.10 nb According to Lizzie a winning pointer ran a corker on debut wen staying on well to grab second behind Greenhill Millie - (Shuil Dearg second last night behind in 3rd) if she can step up on that effort must play a leading role in this

Thought the ground was going to be better than soft-heavy!
Would not be keen to back Won in the Dark at odds on given the ground.

I;d be very wary to getting stuck into anything today. Gong by navan getting home was a major issue yesterday. Last 200 yd was a slog - ones to avoid would be one in the dark and tranquil sea, esp TS, i just think this one is not to be trusted and should really be beating golden silver in my view

Clash of the titans in the 245-Jaffonien could be a place lay at 1.45.Wouldn't be surprised if something was beaten at 1.01 in this race.

afternoon all...

Like Alpine Eagle as it could be very well treated following a needed outing last time, form in the peirce last year looks hot enough for this and money for it looks right to go close...

Stewarts House has a lot in favour today and is rightly fav for the chase later on, hope a few of the runners are not at their peak today whereas Stewarts House is getting things together nicely - run behind Seabass was a good one as the Walsh horse had a good bit of weight in hand that day...

Gd luck
