she certainly was not a good minister for ag. oversaw the demise of the sugar industry in ireland , thousands of jobs within the industry and also in spin offs lost ,at the moment the price of sugar has gone through the roof,we cant produce it any more and while i dont know the situation with the mallow plant the carlow one is now a barren site ,nothing left , a waste land.a memorial to greed.greencore/carroll etc.shame.
