glenarn monaghan chelt preview nite

Id say noone is up yet that stayed for the end!!!Left Castleblaney at midnight. Only two days previewed, 10 mins each. First of all O Brady & R Shah are salt of the earth and what they are trying to do is admirable, but this night was a bit of a farce. They would need a week to accomodate what the tried to put on.. A race night with six races, two of which auction races. 12 panellists. 3 phone calls. 3 special guests. 2 speeches (Rita & Oliver). I know its not all about info and opinions etc, but the preview of the festival went by the wayside last nite.

Was nice to see Tommy Bowe, Martin Adams. Des Scahill, Colm Murray and couple others didnt even make the final twelve.Davy Russell, Tony Martin, John Cullen looked bored out of their tree come 11-12 o'clock. They sat their from 8 talking amongst themselves pretty much.

Couple of things i did learn(not much-pity, because it was an interesting start);
WP Mullins (phone): likes his novice hurdlers best- Quel Esprit Charity Bet
M O'Leary: No mad about his at all. Likes Pandorama and Enterprise Park considering the way they bet some of his.
PF Nicholls: Rivaliste in the Jewson Nap
Davy Russell: rp mcNamara great judge says that Drumbaloo best of the form in the bumper, overpriced
DK Weld: Rite of Passage, good chance(his usual conservative self)
Bumper horses, great chance. Hidden Universe if soft and Smullen rides. Elegant RPMc and better ground.

PF Nicholls: Rivaliste in the Jewson Nap
Before the weights are published. Big LOL.

Davey wasn't overly confident about Solwhit. In fact, he wasn't overly keen on any of his rides!

fair enough but you can be sure it will be 12's to 9/2 when they are published
