Eoin Morgan and Kevin Pietersen shared England's best ever stand in Twenty20 cricket to down world champions Pakistan by seven wickets in Dubai. Dublin-born Morgan hammered 67 not out from 51 balls, including a match-winning six, and Pietersen a more restrained 43no as they dragged their side back from 18 for three.

England's best ever stand in Twenty20 and not one of em innit.

Hes class. Some power and has all the shots, that six he hit to finish the game today was awesome.

I know some will dislike the bloke for playing for England, but we dont have a "proper" test status cricket team so if he wants a career in cricket, England is the only way. Good luck to him, he can go far.

Got an IPL contract too this year, but will struggle to get a game given the rules, only 4 non Indians on the pitch per team, hes possibly in the worst team for the number of foreigners.

Serious talent though.
