Thoughts on this lad tomorrow.

Will he be better going right handed? I don't think he likes going lh, I suppose Mac making ya go suicidal pace wouldn't help.

Does he like hurdling + he is pretty small for hurdling isn't he ? He seemed to need plenty of help at his hurdles.

Aren't O'Grady's not going as well as earlier in the season? 6% this month + 10% Jan.

Back on softer ground help?

Ground is the key to him.

I agree, the softer the better. Very impressive on the flat on soft at Gowran and Roscommon. It could be that he prefers going that way aswell.

Wonder why Byrnes didn't pitch Pittoni in here, as opposed to a much hotter race against older novices on Sunday?

I actually like Big Game Hunter, plenty of schooling needed in fairness but his jumping is improving and he has an excuse for having a look at a few after a dirty experience fto over sticks. I don't see the attraction in Nolan's. He may have been beaten lto if Mangan's had stood up and Hail Ceaser isn't a great yoke to be beating. I think BGH should be 2nd fav, obviously Russell doesn't agree which is great.

Big Game Hunter will hopefully not be winning tomorrow as I have him down as a likely winner of the Fred Winter and his mark needs no increasing.

Alavian is a horse that I feel is likely to regress rather than progress. He has no scope whatsoever and irrespective of whether he wins tomorrow, I cannot see him troubling the principles in the triumph or progresses into a tip top hurlder.

Alaivan capable of winning by 20 lengths if he fancies it.

Fully entitled to win as he did today so well done backers.

Changes very little in terms of what he will do at Cheltenham as he was merely confirming that if he is in one piece and that he can beat inferior opponents impressively, as he did on his debut.
