What is you reason for laying an cathair mór?
|
|
By:
Early look at those priced up.
3.10 - Tally em Up ew @ 6/1 3.45 - Thegreatjohnbrown ew @16/1 4.15 - Tranquil Sea - not sure if i'd back him, but def want to see a nice prep for the Ryanair. 5.20 - Araucaria - one of my bumper trio, have already laid off for a free bet, but still looking for a win. |

tranquil sea tarvern times for me

I think ACM is a lay because first of all it's over 2m4f which he is unproven on....secondly he had a hard race lto and when you consider that from the third last home lto Dooneys Gate was around 15 lengths faster home.....that was because jockeys Russell, Walsh and McCoy got carried away on their mounts and got involved in a pace that was way too fast.

Won 2m 3f bumper at naas first time out i think
|
|
By:
sorry it was a 2m bumper. He loves naas and prob wont even really need to stay to win

2-40
A very competitive handicap hurdle. Let's keep it simple, Show Blessed's form-figures at Naas are 211021. 3-15 Taravada jumped well first time over fences last time. Can only improve with BJG in the saddle. Looks good at 6s to turn over ACM in receipt of 7lb. |

Thanks oddball.
To me its a poor renewal considering some of the precious winners. An Cathair Mór has the best form in the book but agree that handing the extra 1/2 mile has to be taken on trust. |
|
By:
The extra 1/2 mile has to be taken on trust (AND while he deserves his extra 7lb too) still can't see one that beat him.

By:
Last 50mins Bert. hopefully it stops soon.
|
|
By:
take it eassee looks a very solid bet eway. Pittoni looks good value at 11/4 and if i was on course i would fancy Mansony without the front two. he is overpriced at 12s. Tranquil and scotsirish proned to mistakes. Mansony is a solid and experienced jumper who likes going left handed at places like naas/navan.

The form of the Tom Mullins yard would have to be a concern for those that fancy Some Slam, Dr Whizz & Tavern Times. Only 12 runners and no winner since 1st January, When his team were running well he had 3 winners from 8 runners in september & 7 winners from 23 runners in October. Since November he has had just 2 winners. Needs to reverse these trends tomorrow.

Naas to hold second inspection for Sunday

By:
will this be rescheduled
|
|
By:
This afternoon's meeting at Naas has been abandoned due to snow.
After an inspection at 8am it was decided to look again at 10am in the hope that the overnight snow would thaw. However, cloud cover meant temperatures were only rising slowly and the card, featuring the Woodlands Park 100 Nas Na Riogh Novice Chase, has been lost. "It's gone I'm afraid," said the Turf Club's press officer Cliff Noone. "They were hoping it would brighten up but it didn't and there is cloud cover now. "It is overcast now so they've had to pull the plug." |
|
By:
If it is rescheduled they will probably have to put it on tomorrow as that is the only day that there is no other irish meeting on until Tuesday week.
