what goes on on the field should stay on the field , just after they've shown one player trying to knock the head off another :( no cameras should be allowed iho .imo no child should be exposed to this form of tribalism.week after week we see so called grown men beaten each other senceless and all we hear from the gaa is it will be dealt with.well deal with it ffs.

WELL thats life sirwinalot, of course we have our problems in soccer, but the scale of on the pitch violence in gaa matches is way beyond anything that happens in soccer .pure madness and a sad reflection on our national sport imo .

never seen the riot squad or alsations needed at a GAA match. Never once would it cross my mind to be picky about what games I'd take kids to in GAA. That's simply not the case for League of Ireland games. I've seen some terrible things and experienced some horrible atmospheres at LOI games.

I love both sports as you've probably guessed if you've read some of my posts, but they've both got their problems.

Let he whose game is without sin post the first barb.

agree with most of what you say sirwinalot , but surely the fisticuffs at most gaa matches is more damaging to childen then what they hear at a soccer match .i know some of the stuff you hear on the terraces is awful but people kicking and punching one another is more detramental to childrens minds ,well thats my opinion anyway , even rte after 9pm and sometimes before has worse language.
