OFFICIALS at Clonmel are monitoring conditions at the course due to the slow thawing of the frost at the track.
RELATED LINKS » Clonmel race card Frost was always forecast at the track but temperatures are being held down by cloud cover which was not forecast. Cliffe Noone, Irish Turf Club press officer, said: "The forecast was for the frost to clear mid morning but the cloud cover isn't helping the situation. "They're going to have another look at about 10.30-11am. It depends on this cloud cover disappearing and there's a little bit of concern about it." He added: "The decision is going to be made as late as possible so racing can be on." |
