was in a bar last week to find @11.30ish out came the ashtrays!!!

not a smoker myslef but it was one law we just fell over and accepted without much fuss- no backbone to stand up to our government on th issue

the more avenues you can block people from starting smoking the better doesn't seem to be working though smoking rates should be down to 15% by now but it aint |

most pubs with travellers in the near vicinity will see herion problems as these travellers try to treble their wads from childrens allowance(circa 2K each) by dealing in this poison.

Nobody should be in a pub after 11.30pm so it doesn't really matter which law you are breaking. Non-smokers have no grounds for complaints if they are there after hours.

Can still complain even if after hours because the residue of tobacco smoke would still be there the following day. Should probably complain then though. Smoking should not be tolerated at all anywhere

can't understand why anyone would want the smell in their premises but i've seen this argument a couple of times and have to laugh at the hypocritical argument that these people are breaking the law......

probably the people smoking are the drinkers in the place spedning the most money,. seen it a few times in pubs to be fair i smoke myself and when ur drunk and its going on youd light up too

Any decent pub has a smoking shack/area. Cigrettes are the gateway to alcohol and as we all know alcohol is a consistet factor in murders, assaults, rape, road deaths... the list oes on. Both are legal so what the public wants the public gets a
