I like the look of By the hour here. Was last with a circuit to go 2 runs ago in Clonmel. Closed right up on the leaders when brought down 2 out behind Tinakelly Lad, Kempes and Rocco's Hall. She would have gone close that day and would have definitely got in amongst horses with ratings from 111 up to a BHB 138. Kempes franked the form on Tuesday and certainly if this mare can reproduce that run she will take beating.

Like 3 tomorrow just gotta pass de inspection now

Thurles will hold an 8am inspection tomorrow morning ahead of their planned fixture due to the threat of severe overnight frost.

The track is currently raceable and the ground is soft.

3.05- Recital Public - second behind impressive winner Blackstairmountain lto but was well clear of the 3rd, goes on the ground and can get his head in front here

4.35 - Mountain Heather e/w - was still in contention wen slipping up last time out - was 3rd in Limk the time b4 that - the 2nd that day Carlowsantana was just run out of it late on today -

5.05 Garlough - was just pipped on the line fto and can get the better of Changing Times here

i agree with you on Recital Public although I think Ordinary Man might take him. He finished 9 1/2 l 5th to Ten Fires at L'town at Xmas. Made a mistake and hampered 2 out but stuck at it well. Grey Soldier and Paddy ODee have franked the form since.
I'd fancy this forecast

Carlas Dream in the 3m beginners chase could be a nice each way pick....Jagoes Mills franked the form today...karinga queen, deserves to be market leader but think if CD is ridden more prominently could be a lot closer at a big price..
trainer could have a cheltenham outsider in his stable too, in the cross country, Another Jewel, the punchestown race he won last time has thrown up the last few winners of the CC in cheltenham

Can't have Carly's . She has a hurdle rating of 86 and although I think the three mile trip is up her alley I feel she'll find a few too good and probably barring accidents finish around 5th

Following the cancellation of the meeting scheduled for Thurles earlier today due to frost, Horse Racing Ireland has announced that there will be a replacement meeting at Thurles on Friday 26th February, 2010.

As there is already a scheduled meeting at Thurles on Thursday 25th February, this will now be a two day fixture and there will be a revised programme of races for both days.

The revised programme for both days will be published on RAS/Minitel in due course and trainers are requested to note that entries for both of these meetings will now close by 12 noon on Monday 22nd February.
