Dont know the ins and outs of Pats finances but they have certainly cut their cloth to suit since the days of absurd wages. The marquee names have gone and they look like being a workmanlike team with a workmanlike approach to games - very much the Pete Mahon way.
Pats have come through bigger financial messes than whatever they may find themselves in at the moment. Maybe Dan the Saint could offer more insight but I'm not sure anyone knows what Kellehers plans are for the ground/club. |

It looks embarrasingly like Drogheda cant field a team. They have requested a postponement and Pats will play Longford in a friendly.

we seem to be ok, we have cut our wages and budget ofr new players, transfer fee for fahey and our european run last year has helped.
he appears to be staying put for the moment, he has ambitions for the club, and the club still hopes to build on st.michaels estate, altho i heard it will be scrapped. i think it depends on kellegher own financial problems to be honest. its also great the fai just sit back and watch it.....hmmmmmmmmmm |
