Guys im staying in ballsbridge tomorrow , i hear rolys bistro is very nice and its near me but joels out at newlands x is also nice which one should i go to, value? quality of food/service?

Fair enough mac. Long time since I inhabited Joels. Always felt like eating in an airport terminal tbh. I would have recommended Mint in Ranelagh but it`s gone! Enjoy your meal wherever you end up.

mac - go to the cafe part, very reasonable and same food. something like 25 quid for three courses and the tapas deserts are class with plenty in them
