Didn't see it ,but are there arguements in favour of head shops?
|
|
By:
I expect the people running the headshops and their customers are in favour of them worple
RTE just needs to Turn On a little and stop being so square |
|
By:
Didnt see the programme but heard a debate on this subject on Liveline recently during which the Headshop owners put their point of view . They didnt convince me and its hard to see what the argument is for selling these type of drugs legally . These shops will probably be shut down in the near future .

They're exploiting a loop hole in the law, which will hopefully be closed.

By:
What is a loop hole in the law? Is there a footnote accompanying the documentation when the Bill is drafted to highlight this Loop Hole?
|
|
By:
The loop hole is that they should not be allowed and the clearly are!
Therefore those that are running these shops, selling "legal highs" are exploiting this! |
|
By:
there breaking no law apparently? Loop Holes = semantics.

they did have people in favour of it on the show.
a owner of a head shop was on the show and all he said was that he was selling salt baths. he didn't mazke any attempt to say what he was doing was right just pretend that people are paying loads of money for bath salts |

I fell asleep and missed the show I was planning to watch it but from what I know about the snow blow is it's taking money out of drug dealers pockets cause alot of people are no longer buying coke I dont no if this was mentioned on the show but there was an argument for years asking shld coke be made legal so it wld take it away from drug dealers now that there is an alternative they want to to shut the shops down
