Is the first sign of a Flood of Emigration the victory of London Champions V Munster winners Kilmurray this sunday?....Live On TG4 From Ruislip at 2 sunday.
They have been backed fron 5's to fours in a couple of places...a very strong outfit by recent London Standards practically all Ulster Players...I hear a number of other clubs have been processing a lot of Transfers for newly Emigrated Players...if The whole London manager/selector business can be resolved they can win a few leagues this year.

Mate of mine goes To London co Board Meetings ...Last one was transfer after transfer with kerry, mayo,Rosscommon, leitrim, longford, particulary prominent according to him...mostly footballers with hurlers still high in demand with decent quality hurlers bound to get work if they play with clubs..

The standard of club hurling in London is absolute manure. You would be a brave man to go playing if you had any sort of ability. I know lads who wouldn't get on junior teams at home who started for Gabriel's this year. The football isn't much better. Serious drink culture around the GAA in London.

yea that would be true but if your interested in picking up a job most of the stronger clubs will look after you reasonably well and from these drink fuelled sessions after matchs other or better jobs can fall your way...the standard over the last few years has been poor but its expected to get a lot stronger over the coming years with some clubs that would take a novice player two years ago only interested in senior players in ireland this year...

It would be better than the standard of club hurling in 50% of the counties in Ireland. And there isnt a drink culture around the GAA in Ireland?

would think Tir Chonaill Gaels are stronger than they've been for a good few years...........at their best they were never quite good enough to beat an irish provincial winner...they gave plenty very good games..........think they will go close

id agree with you..a game full of danger but id still sat we should win ,we got a good team of dedicated players.we won 2 munsters in 6 yrs and beaten by a point in last years final.

Kilmurray 1-4 Tir Chonnal Gaels 0-3, A narrow but deserved victory for the clare men played on a very slippy surface with a physical encounter the order of the day, lots of late tackles and niggly slaps, lack of decent local opposition seemed to militate against tir chonaill who were guilty of some basic errors but tried their hearts out, hard to see portlaoise slipping up against the clare men.

Watchin repeat of this game on tg4 now. Has to be worst standard of football game your likely to see on tv. 9 yellow cards and 5 scores in 1st half. Pitch mightnt have been great but you would see better standard in a junior C game. Say Portlaoise are delighted with this.
