Backed today from 250s into 66s WH and into 100s pp and bits of money on here for Champ hurdle.
Decent enough stable, i follow as he's a fellow Galwegian, I was actually a big fan of Kings Bastion but wasnt on over the xmas...it was long overdue a flat win last season.
Any opinions on him/this horse? Wildly optimistic but has very good flat form.
Anyone know the name of the actual trainer (his assistant) as Luke is full time in London afaik?

No idea, but I`ll never forget him buying Chimes at Midnight from O`Brien and getting it placed in the Leger.

Most of the horses that he has bought cost next to nothing as far as I am aware. They are usually knackered (or supposedly knackered) horses from other yards. He seems to buy a lot off Ballydoyle.

Wouldn't take much money to move it from 250s to 66s

Did a great job with Bashikirov last season unlucky when well fancied in ground it hated and good race in Galway and 2 very impressive wins at Dundalk.
That 10lb claimer he has is woefull though.
These 2 entered in CH look good prospects madness entering them in the race but interesting horses

i heard some very funny stories about Luke Comer...arriving at his gym in north London and left a st ledger 3rd in the horse box out the front for 2 hours....

i think its his daughter that does the training?

he's a high net worth individual thats for sure, has gone big into development in Africa...

Hooses just a hobby methinks....

His daughter Sandra does the training, she spent a while in Ballydoyle a few years ago.
