Schools closed do teachers still get paid?

I think they get paid distress money -because they're deprived of the chance of interacting with their respectful and diligent students .

Hi MORDIN....On your other little problem what some do now is match the Outright bets against the Final bets in the likes of the Tennis or the NFL finals soon there is lots of others similar situations coming up if the thought appeals to you including eventually the good auld GAA.

The likes of the tennis is also played on Sundays which also helps so bet A in the Outright and then lay A in the final it generates losing commission while you also will pay your winning commission on the win bet.

But if you have a big liabilty that Sunday evening for you know what, it helps a little and will reduce it.

I don't bother myself with it but some do. No point saying on the other thread as there only enough liquildty for a few.

Saying that you could arrange it with a buddy to match you if you knew somebody in the same situation as you at the time...... :^0 Cheers

yes workrider -I gave it a listen .
It is a very atmospheric piece although one might say it lacks any kind of detectable melodic line ... and I'm traditionally wedded to the idea of a flowing melody that one can pick up and learn oneself.
I was more impressed by the stark simplicity of the lyrics. These had quite a journey from old Chinese to French to German ...but I'm sure they're strikingly effective in any language .

no , i was in work today , only one in the county though.

I would be of the opinion that anyone on holidays this week is shrewd and far from a wayne kerr.

Should be sacked.

No point in putting children's at risk on the roads for the sake of 2 day's.
Pay a childminder if you need to or is it just a cheap shot at teachers.

Wife is substitute teacher doing maternity for permanent teacher.Was told today that Dept of Ed wont pay sub teachers for snowed off days.Doesnt get any holiday pay either

Probably far better at her job than the permanent teacher as well.
