seen something i really liked, salesman gave me the price and i was happy enough with it .then he said he had to add on the price of metallic paint an extra 500 euro . i said but the paint is already on the car , yes he said but companys dont add it into the price .i got up and left , ffs why do companys do this, any car sales people on here ? in the end i ended up buying 2nd hand car . i felt sorry for the guy in the end i'm sure he's been told to lure them in then hit them with the add ons .

There is supposed to be no cartel these days ,open competition, could you have gone to another dealer for a similar car workrider.I would have thought they would have bargained with you with the economy being so slow?

he said , and to be fair to the guy he showed me the margins they have to work from , that it was a promo , new model and all that and yes he did have bigger margins on other models to be fair .just felt i'd been lead into a trap with the metallic paint thing.

Made just over 14 grand workrider , not too bad , great expierience. Im going back next may to walk the whole thing for myself , a challenge 800k 20 days .

Next time im not doing it for charity workrider, times are tough and people are feeling the pinch, i tapped lots of people last may and i will give them a break for a couple of years before i ask again.

met few Irish heads in Barca last summer, they drank d ** out of it before heading off for the walk, ideal preperation!!
think they said they were heading to san sebastian, Iam not holy either thought they be right few devout christians on it, seams not sounds good tho, enjoy it |

macrocky , thats fair enough , have you read about the new walk they are trying to promote in isreal .they call it the jesus walk .walking in the footsteps of the lord .have a look on the isreal holiday site it just might interest you , thanks for the good wishes re rovers feel we'll need it . if bohs lose fenlon to dundee that could change things though.

He propably saw you with your Rovers top and scarf on and said to himself,its time for the old metallic paint trick,just to get rid of this timewaster.He automatically assumed that anyone with a Rovers top driving a new car would be being chased by a white car with flashing lights with Garda written on the side of it.

getting the car next week macrocky , not worth crashing it in this weather :) not sure if i'd be interested in that santiago gig to be honest . i would really love to go to the holy land though .re the weather its unreal in dublin atm it took my daughter over 2 hrs to drive 5mls home from work ,told her i'mg glad i dont have a car like that :) she was not amused .
