Hi all

I am looking to go to this, but want to stay in Dublin - somewhere nice, not too pricey, but mostly somehwere which is recommended. Went to Festival last year had a great time, but hotel we stayed in was a joke and was expensive...hardly slept a wink and just looking for somewhere close but not noisy if you know what i mean.

any help will be good, dont mind if hotel / cottage or B and B - proably stay at least 5 nights - god help my head!

thanks in advance

no wonder, thats a fkn kip & so is that part of Dublin!

How many coming over?
Age range?
If it is a few lads on the beer? - There are a couple of jurys inns close to the cc, at least you know what your getting there.
One in Christchurch is just off the top end of Temple bar.

the only good bit about it, was that it was not far from the bus that drops you from the airport and vice versa

Der is a place at newlands cross which is about 60euro per night. not sure of the name but i am sure some 1 will know it. it is near enough dublin for a night out and i am sure public transport can be arranged to races also. if in dub go to temple bar an enjoy urself.

Would that be bewleys? the IBIS just further down the road were advertising 49 yos a room per night. Never stayed but never heard anything terrible about it.

Sort of the wrong side of town but only 4 stops on the dart to get the bus from Connolly. D4 hotels, dirt cheap.

Stay in Naas, good town with a decent nightlife after the punchestown races.
Get a bus from the airport to busarus and then a bus to Naas. Good bus service.
