One Cool Cat as a two year old, some amount of horses to get you jiggy over the years.

Report Doyler1987 December 30, 2009 8:55 PM GMT
Remember the ride KF gave Oratorio in the Champion Stakes.. superb.

Dylan Thomas won on the card after too.
Report jair1970 December 30, 2009 8:56 PM GMT
Antonius Pius was my favourite ;)
Report soldieroffortune December 30, 2009 9:07 PM GMT
Nice one Doyler, indeed a brilliant ride from Kieren on Oratorio!

I remember that day at Leop in 2005 very well. I had to watch it all on TV as for some strange reason I decided to make the trip across to Donny to watch Scorpion win the English Leger ...... with Dettori on board! FFS :0

3.Sinndar
4.Giants Causway
5.Yeats
6.Hawk Wing

5. Brave Inca
6. Harchibald
7. Hedgehunter

feel free to adjust/replace/re-jig, Istabraq not included as most of his best racing was done in the '90's (same might be said of Florida Pearl).

Remember the list is best not personal favourite

worth watchin over and over and over. And the handicapper would have ya thinkin Master Minded is better than this Legend.
Report rule4 will apply January 1, 2010 2:24 PM GMT
lol Mark Johnson describes Geraghtys look over his shoulder as 'anxious' but i remember Simon Holt calling it 'nonchelant'....still get the goosebumps.
Report sinndar001 January 1, 2010 2:34 PM GMT
Barry said himself that that 'look' over his shoulder was all part of his plan to get ruby to challenge early as Moscow Flyer liked a battle.

Personally I think Moscow was bone idle in front and was laughing at his rivals most of the time. Holt commentary in the Champion chase that season was Maggggggnifficennnnt!

Sorry for going off point for a sec but we need commentators like holt and johnston and hoiles to help make racing exciting to some viewers. Jerry Hannon is that man and the sooner he's the main man the better.

Nickname - raced 15 times in Ireland, won 9 times, 8 of those were Grade 1,2 or 3's.
Report rule4 will apply January 1, 2010 3:32 PM GMT
ok , worth a mention. but lack of big race wins in anything other than very soft/heavy and outside ireland inhibits his chances of makin top 10
Report kavvie January 1, 2010 4:24 PM GMT
i was over impressed with giants causeway by the look of it!!
