Some Slam 3.30 Leop - Anything around 6/4 is massive value imo, should be 4/6! Absolutely bolted up in Listowel beating Summit Meeting by 8l giving him 14lbs with the jockeys allowance
taken into consideration, SM won his next 2 starts comfortably so the form looks rock solid! Bohola Lady in 5th won nto too easily accounting for Milannette! Swift Lord who was a long way back in 6th won a bumper very comfortably nto! The danger according to the betting gonna be WPs horse Dont Turn Bach who won easily fto in wat was a poor bumper imo and he had the run of the race- Medical Card who was 5 1/2l 2nd that day went off 8/11 nto and was stuffed outa sight in a Navan bumper and it was 30l back to the 3rd and another 20 to the 4th so the form looks suspect imo Our Girl Salley was a good winner last time but that was a poor race(was well beaten her 1st 2 runs although the form of her 4th second time out doesnt read too badly imo)-the 2nd Lean Times well beaten fto - the 3rd Mayas Quest well beaten on her other 3 starts The one i think will give Some Slam most to think about is John Kielys mare Shuil Dearg who showed a bit of potential on debut b4 being well held in 2nd (beaten 10l) but on a line of form through the winner Alferof (Alferof beaten 4 1/2l by Summit Meeting) should not be able to beat Some Slam even in receipt of 12lbs Kings Hill won a bumper fto but has a massive absence of nearly 1000days to overcome and it would be an excellent training performance to get him right again fto The other 2 that complete the field are 2 newcomers - 1 trained by Jim Culloty, could nt be havin that 1 The other by James Leavy who had the bumper winner at Limk today- but hard to see either winnin unless they are well above average Surprised Kate Walsh is nt on board- presumably she had the choice? Tomorrows jock is capable enough i presume but has a poor strike rate- should be ok if the horse is good enough i suppose! Would be disappointing if Some Slam was nt good enough to take this imo on route to better things, gl B-) Prob get stuffed outa sight and i'll av wasted 1 1/2 hours of me life goin through the race :^0 |

The one i think will give Some Slam most to think about is
John Kielys mare Shuil Dearg who showed a bit of potential on debut b4 being well held in 2nd (beaten 10l) but on a line of form through the winner Alferof (Alferof beaten 4 1/2l by Summit Meeting) should not be able to beat Some Slam even in receipt of 12lbs I consider Al Ferof one of the BEST i've seen so far (even in the fog, hehe !) Shuil Dearg now in receipt of 12lbs SO BE CAREFULL !!! Some Slam's price turn into a lay price. THOSE trigger happy gits last night...... WILL THEY EVER LEARN |

Didn't say in the racing post that it was the pacemaker! The market told us the result

Should be some hefty bans there if there was proper order, unfortunately there isn't :)
Disgusting events. |

That race and the betting surely shows that the punter that just studies form has not got a chance.

Not surprised now :) |
