Anyone at the track today? How would you say the going was? Didn't look too soft, 4 of the races were 6-8 seconds off standard.
Cheers. |

Forpadydeplasterer will surely win the Dial a Bet Chase tomorrow. Can't believe he isn't fav..
|
|
By:
Given all the 2's in front of FPTP's name using the words "surely" and "win" when talking about him is ill advised.
|
|
By:
The ground is key to Pady. Anyone know how bad or good it was today and what will ride like tomorrow? If it dryed up another bet, Pady would be very hard to beat!

davy russell said the going was yielding today at the track

Decent Ground--Forpadydeplasterer wins
Bad Grounr--Golden Silver wins imo of course ;-) |

Agree with AI (awesome impact that is).
That could have abbreviated better. |

i was there downallstar, they dident seem to get into it to much , no a lot of mud splattered jockeys, imo it was yeilding .the times of the races might tell a different story though . i'd safely say fpdp will enjoy it tomorrow .

mud splattered jockeys is not a very effective means of establishing ground conditions.
|
|
By:
I see McCoy pays a visit
Thanks for that in-depth 'preview'. |
|
By:
mitch , i can assure you ,if the jockeys come back mud splattered the going is definitly not firm :)

Think I have to stick with Forpady. The ground didn't look to bad today, so I don't think it'll be soft enough for Golden Silver. Think its obvious Tranquil Sea is better over 20f, also he has yet to finish in front of Forpady. I am a tad concerned by the volume of "2's" beside his name, but he has rarely got his preferred better ground.
Forpadydeplasterer 2pts win @11/4 |

whats your opinion of scotsirish downallstar, backed this w/o fav last time at navan ran a shocker , but it was a farce of a race ,surprised ruby sticks with him ?
|
|
By:
townend rides golden silver all the time......no choice
|
|
By:
Wouldn't read anything into the jockey bookings, PT always rides Golden Silver. Not a big fan of Scotsirish - however he likes leop, and 2 miles is his trip, but probably wants much softer ground.
|
|
By:
thanks littledancer , been out of touch recently , its only a matter of time before he takes over from ruby imo.

At least there should be some pace in the Future Champions Nov Hurdle tomorrow(famous last words), as Sweeps Hill is the only confirmed hold up horse. Luska, Fionnegas & Saludos can all front run, the rest all like to track. Hope its not a tactical farce.
If it is a true run race I think Some Present can get his head in front, but am reluctant to bet pre-race.... |
|
By:
backed him at punchestown downallstar, i think this fella just might need his head checked, having said that he ran really well at cheltenham

Elliott camp think they are a certainty in first...meade is danger..mullins horse considered a chasing type that will need further..any vibes here?
