LIMERICK'S hurdle races will go ahead as planned on Saturday but the chase course is frozen and unraceable and will be inspected at 12noon.
RELATED LINKS * » Limerick Saturday cards * » Limerick forecast Limerick has two chases on Saturday's card and a decision on whether they are run will be made during that lunchtime inspection. Track spokesman Steve McDonagh said:" We had a far worse frost than we were expecting last night and parts of the chase track are unraceable. "We are working at trying to improve the situation and are forking the parts of the ground which are frozen. "We will decide at noon whether the chases will go-ahead but the four hurdle races and the bumper will be run." |

Horse jumped just as badly at Thurles last week. Intensive schooling required because horse certainly has a decent engine.

I take back what I said about the Pilot on RBB. The horse was no help to him. I felt he had hotten the horse unsettled but that was not the case. Badly wanted winner in any case so no complaints
