You imply that Americans combatting Taliban terrorists is equivalent to Irish people murdering their neighbours who also happen to be other Irish people ? This is not worthy to be called ''thinking''. Why not try to engage your brain before spewing this drivel on a forum ? You must surely be able to do better than that . A Northern Assembly type situation could have been brought about over 30 years ago shortly after the Sunningdale Agreement. One is minded of the great Latin phrase ''Laboraverunt montes et paruerunt ridiculus mus''. The US and British army dont do much in the line of prostitution,racketeering,drug running,smuggling etc.That seperates them from the brave soldiers in the North of Ireland.

the war is a catastrophe but do not lose sight of the fact that the killings in afghanistan and iraq are the work of islamo-loons who murder anyone they deem not islamic enough(everyone). they murder schoolgirls, blow up mosques(with a total lack of response from muslims in the west to attacks on 'holy places'), ambulances, any westerners they find. same in pakistan, algeria, indonesia, sudan, somalia,saudi, malaysia.....mmm.
