Workrider, I commented on here afterwards that, that ride in Naas was woeful as was a ride by young Townend down in Cork the same day. As I said at the time they were both more interested in working out their percentages rather than going on and putting the race to bed at the last. They both show boated that day, clobbered the last and got done. As I said Charlie Swan in his hey day with A P O'Brien on all those hot pots would be at least a lenth or two clear at the last to allow for a mistake.

Mind you since that day both jockeys have learnt their lesson and are riding at the top of their form.

The Naas race was a balls with the pace and also healys bar has now disappointed twice on good ground. Throw that race out the window from a form point of view. All easy in hindsight.

Sindarr, he had a double handful going to the last, clobbered it and got beat.

Had he the previous time a double handful going to the last. I doubt it.

have to agree with soapp sindarr1, i backed it at naas and was counting my money turning in, still waiting for ruby to take the handbrake off between the last 2 ,then smash there goes the last hurdle knocked out of the ground , the winer that day was under pressure 2 out :( honest .
